A Legacy Born from the Skies
THE HENRI YVON CHRONICLE
The Early Years
Born to a French mother and American father, young Henri grew up between two worlds. His childhood was spent in the hangars of Le Bourget, where his father worked as an aviation engineer. The smell of leather, oil, and ambition would forever mark his aesthetic.
Wings of War
Henri flew reconnaissance missions over occupied France, his keen eye for detail serving both his country and his developing sense of design. In the cockpit, he sketched patterns on flight maps—the first blueprints of what would become his signature silhouettes.
The Atelier Opens
On a quiet street near Place Vendôme, Henri opened his first atelier. His debut collection featured bomber jackets reimagined in silk, flight suits transformed into evening wear, and accessories inspired by cockpit instruments. Paris had never seen anything quite like it.
